Protocol Document
Thermal Kinetics & Altitude Compensation.
Longmont operation altitude materially changes sterilization physics. Cycle design must be derived from observed thermal behavior and lethality targets rather than inherited sea-level defaults.
Core Relations
Lethality rate: L = 10^((T_actual - 121.1) / 10)
Integrated lethality: F0 = integral(L dt)
Working context: at 4,984 ft, effective steam temperature at nominal pressure is below 121.1 C, requiring extended hold and thermal-lag compensation for dense hydrated masses.
Thermal Plot Publication Status
Chamber Plateau Profile - Coming soon
Public plot release is pending final redaction review and run-to-run labeling normalization.
Core-Mass Thermal Lag Profile - Coming soon
This plot will be published with timestamped acquisition context and matching batch identifiers once validation packaging is finalized.
Protocol Note
The extended hold window for 5 lb hydrated substrate is derived from empirical run logs, altitude-adjusted boiling behavior, and integrated lethality requirements. Timer parity with sea-level workflows is explicitly rejected.
